UVA Health is seeking a Lead Technologist in Lab Automation to support the Core Laboratory’s automation systems, troubleshoot complex instrumentation, and influence workflow evolution for better patient care. The role combines hands-on technical work with leadership responsibilities and a focus on expanding total laboratory automation across the Core Lab.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with NAACLS MLS/CLS program completion.
• Bachelor’s in Biology/Chemistry or related science with relevant experience.

Responsabilités

• Support and troubleshoot automation systems and instrumentation.
• Mentor and train laboratory staff on automation processes.
• Collaborate with leadership to optimize workflows and expand automation.
