Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited is seeking an experienced Automation Lead to drive enterprise-wide automation for a large US healthcare environment. You will blend hands-on automation architecture with AIOps, ServiceNow integrations, and DevOps leadership to deliver measurable business value.

Responsibilities include owning roadmaps across multiple domains, designing self-healing solutions, and leading cross-functional automation programs with a focus on ROI and executive stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in Automation, AIOps or DevOps leadership.
• Strong hands-on experience with Ansible, Terraform, Python, PowerShell and ServiceNow.
• Experience with Dynatrace, Splunk, Datadog, Moogsoft or BigPanda.
• Strong knowledge of Azure/AWS, VMware, Windows and Linux environments.
• Experience leading cross-tower automation within large managed-services environments.
• Strong business-value, ROI and executive stakeholder-management skills.

• Design and implement AIOps, event correlation, auto-remediation and self-healing solutions.
• Automate infrastructure using Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell and Python.
• Drive patching, configuration compliance, provisioning and DR automation across Windows, Linux, VMware, cloud and network environments.
• Implement ServiceNow ITSM/ITOM, Event Management, Discovery, CMDB and workflow/orchestration integrations.
• Lead application automation covering CI/CD, APM, monitoring and automated testing.
• Leverage GenAI/Agentic AI, RPA and SOAR for intelligent operations and service automation.
• Establish automation KPIs covering cost savings, FTE-hours released, incident reduction, MTTR, availability and risk reduction.
• Present automation outcomes and business value to senior client stakeholders.

Job description

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
