Cretex Medical offers an Automation Intern position located in Brooklyn Park, MN, onsite for 40 hours per week. The intern will support automation projects, assist with scope-to-implementation tasks, and ensure compliance with ISO and medical device requirements.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a 2-4 year degree in mechanical or controls engineering with automation focus, possess strong communication skills, and can multitask in a fast-paced team environment while using SolidWorks and MS Office.

• Provide internal customer technical support.
• Utilize existing electrical and controls automation skills to enhance automation systems.
• Provide support on automation projects including design and implementation to assure projects are completed on schedule.
• Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements.
• Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work.
• Partner with other business segments sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance.
• Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve.

Automation Intern Position Summary

The Automation Intern will be responsible for providing technical support focusing on automation projects and assisting with new opportunities that will have a significant impact on safety, cost, and quality. The intern will assist the Automation department with projects from scope definition through implementation. This position will be located in Brooklyn Park, MN. The internship will be onsite working 40 hours/week, preferably.

USD $25.00 - USD $25.00 /Hr.

This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions within this job grade, based on our market-based pay structures. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions. While the full hiring range is shared for transparency, offers are rarely made at the minimum or maximum of the range.
