Job summary

VT Industries, Inc. in Georgia seeks a Process Engineer to collaborate with Engineering, CI, Production teams and leadership on various projects, and to plan, design, develop and validate manufacturing processes using engineering methods.

Support Production and maintenance operations, improve safety, quality, productivity, and delivery, and determine potential savings with ROI analysis. A Bachelor’s in Automatic Control Systems or Electrical Engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• Major in Engineering or related field.
• Self-motivated.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to analyze and evaluate data.
• Computer skills, including basic Excel skills a plus.
• Working knowledge of electromechanical systems.
• Follow the Code of Conduct and Attendance Policy.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Engineering team, CI team members, Production team members and Production leadership on various projects.
• Coordinate efforts to plan, design, develop and validate manufacturing processes and improvements to existing process using engineering methods.
• Support Production and maintenance operations.
• Improve Processes and Eliminate Waste in Key Constraint Areas.
• Improve Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Delivery in assigned area.
• Determine potential savings and calculate ROI for projects.
• Assist with designing processes that satisfy Federal, State, and Local safety laws.
• Communicate projects and progress to all levels of company.
• Potential to travel to other manufacturing sites.
• Maintain technical documentation for existing processes and design changes.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.
