Job summary

Danos, LLC in Texas seeks an Automation Integrator II to design, commission, maintain, and optimize automation systems for upstream oil and gas facilities. You will collaborate with operations, engineering, instrumentation, and maintenance to ensure solutions meet safety and production goals.

Responsibilities include configuring PLC/RTU/HMI/SCADA, developing control logic, supporting field instrumentation, and ensuring cybersecurity and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Automation Technology, Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related.
• 3+ years supporting industrial automation in oil & gas or related industries.
• Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting on Allen-Bradley/Siemens/Schneider platforms.
• Experience with SCADA, HMI development, and industrial networking.
• Strong understanding of instrumentation, process controls, and automation architecture.
• Knowledge of electrical and instrumentation drawings, P&IDs, loop drawings, and control narratives.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex automation issues in field environments.
• ISA certifications or other automation-related certifications.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, integrate, and support automation and control systems for upstream oil and gas facilities.
• Analyze requirements and recommend automation to improve production efficiency and safety.
• Install, commission, test, and troubleshoot PLC, RTU, HMI, and SCADA systems.
• Develop and maintain control logic, communications, and automation documentation.
• Support field instrumentation including sensors and analyzers.
• Configure industrial protocols such as Modbus, Ethernet/IP, OPC, DNP3 and related networks.
• Collaborate with operations, facility engineering, and maintenance to identify improvements.
• Perform root cause analysis and provide technical support for automation issues.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain records of changes, modifications, and commissioning activities.
• Participate in capital projects, startups, upgrades, and expansions.
• Support alarm management, data acquisition, and reporting initiatives.
