Job summary

Daifuku Intralogistics America Corporation is seeking an Installation Quality Control Specialist I to support planning, installation, and testing of automated material handling systems. You will audit, inspect, and test electrical and mechanical work, ensuring compliance with engineering plans and project scope.

Responsibilities include on-site checkout, documenting daily reports, and collaborating with the project team during commissioning.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–5 years in material handling or warehouse automation preferred.
• Basic electrical/mechanical maintenance and installation knowledge.
• Familiarity with Allen-Bradley controls beneficial.
• CAD drawings or electrical schematics understanding helpful.
• Knowledge of safe industrial work practices incl. Lockout-Tagout/OSHA 10.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Audit activities and develop punch lists for contractors during installation.
• Inspect installation to ensure equipment matches engineering plans.
• On-site checkout and testing after controls implementation.
• Prepare and distribute daily site reports and documentation.
• Communicate with the internal project team during commissioning.
• Inspect and test PLC implementations to meet project scope.
• Travel up to 90% as required.
• Support long 12-hour shifts on construction sites.
