Job summary
Consolidated Electrical Distributors (CED) seeks an Automation Specialist to drive the territory's automation strategy, covering programmable controllers, I/O, HMI, safety, industrial computers, and network design. You will be the technical liaison between Rockwell Automation and the distributor.
Reporting to the Automation Solutions Group Manager, you will participate in account planning, provide selection and design advice, and create plans to exceed growth targets while owning revenue for
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent combination of skills, experience and education.
- 3+ years experience applying Rockwell Automation products or equivalent solutions.
- Outcome-based selling experience.
- Demonstrate technical writing and presentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Participate in account planning and sales strategy.
- Provide selection and design advice as needed.
- Create and execute plans to exceed growth targets.
- Be accountable for revenue performance of assigned product segments.
- Serve as domain expert around automation and continually build competency.
- Coordinate sales team efforts to identify and close account conversions and project opportunities.
- Travel to customers within the assigned geographic area.
