Job summary

The Software Test Engineer will join a talented team delivering mission-critical software for emergency aviation equipment. You will design and write scripts for automated, functional, integration, performance, and regression tests.

Qualifications include BS/MS in CS/CE, 1+ year in testing, experience with Jenkins, API testing, and test management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, GitHub). You are detail-oriented and capable of coordinating across teams.

Qualifications

BS/MS in Computer Science, CE, or related field.
1+ years’ experience as Test Engineer.
Experience in scripting languages: C, C++, C#, Dart.
Experience Using Jenkins.
Experience testing APIs.
Experience using Test Management Software.
Experience using Atlassian: JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket.
Experience using GitHub.
Experience with load and performance testing.

Responsibilities

Design and write scripts for automated, functional, integration, performance, and regression tests.
Monitor results, logging defects, and validating defect fixes.
Create a robust automation framework for scalability and reuse.
Maintain testing infrastructure across environments.
Coordinate team reviews through full life cycle development activities.
Collaborate with project teams, leverage existing scripts, and create test environments.
Participate in requirement reviews to ensure compliant specs and documentation.
Review system engineering docs to ensure specs meet needs.
Other duties as assigned by management.
