Job summary

Scrive is seeking a QA Engineer for a 1-year fixed-term contract to drive an automation-first testing approach for our SaaS web platform. You will implement automated tests with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript), perform manual validation, and work with cross-functional teams to improve quality and reduce incidents.

Remote role within the EU, reporting to Head of QA. The position emphasizes collaboration, continuous learning, and high standards for secure, stable, and user-friendly software

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience testing web applications in a SaaS company.
• Proven track record balancing manual and automated testing with an automation-first mindset.
• Strong debugging and analytical skills with proactive exploratory testing.
• Fluent English communication skills for clear test results and updates.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated tests using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Perform manual testing and feature validation to ensure full product quality.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA peers to improve quality across releases.
• Identify, log, and troubleshoot issues, documenting clear steps to reproduce in Jira.
