Job summary

Cybernetik, a global automation company with 38+ years of experience, seeks an Automation Field Service Engineer to install, commission, and troubleshoot PLC/HMI/SCADA systems and robotics at client sites across the US and abroad.

You will travel domestically and internationally, prepare programming structures, supervise erection and commissioning, and support the technical sales team with demos when on-site. Requires 3-5 years in automation/controls and hands-on PLC experience.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in automation/controls, field service, or a related role.
• Hands-on experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare programming structures, flowcharts, interlock sheets, and SCADA/HMI architecture
• Supervise erection and commissioning at job sites
• Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC/HMI/SCADA/VFD systems
• Work with robotics for packaging and material handling
• Install and service existing automation systems (Allen Bradley & Siemens PLCs)
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints and control diagrams
• Coordinate with on-site contractors to hit installation and start-up milestones
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across the US and India

We're a global automation company with 38+ years of experience delivering automated systems to clients worldwide, looking for an Automation Field Service Engineer to join our team.

In this role, you'll travel 50-75% to client sites for installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting support, and assist our technical sales team with demos when you're not on-site. You'll work hands-on with PLC/HMI/SCADA systems and robotics for packaging and material handling - building strong customer relationships along the way.

What You'll Do
