Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Technician to support the development, installation, and validation of automated systems in our injection molding, assembly, and packaging operations. You will collaborate with Automation Engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure the safe and efficient integration of new equipment and technologies in a cleanroom environment.

Job Duties:

• Maintain a clean and safe work area; report unsafe conditions.
• Assist Automation Engineers in defining automation requirements.
• Support the NPI process through procurement, design, build, installation, and validation of automation systems.
• Develop and implement solutions for automated part extraction and secondary press-side operations.
• Install, wire, commission, and validate mold robots, end-of-arm tools, and press-side equipment.
• Develop programs for mold robots.
• Assist in equipment validation processes (DQ, FAT, IQ, OQ, SAT, PQ).
• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers/customers.
• Support DFMA, FMEA, DOE, and Lean initiatives.
• Create SOPs for operation and maintenance of new equipment.
• Train manufacturing staff on new equipment usage and upkeep.
• Support production ramp-up.
