Job summary

Clarios is seeking an Automation Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers responsible for executing automation projects across our network of recycling centers. The role blends automation expertise with strong project management to deliver innovative solutions on time and within budget.

You will standardize equipment and processes, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations while mentoring engineers and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in Automation Engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; master's preferred.
• Experience in battery recycling or smelting operations is strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Strong problem-solving, data analysis, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of engineers to execute automation projects across multiple sites.
• Identify opportunities for technological advancement and drive implementation of automation solutions.
• Collaborate with plant leaders, process SMEs, and cross-functional teams to design automated systems.
• Standardize equipment and processes for consistency and efficiency across the network.
• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost effectiveness and financial accountability.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety regulations and sustainability goals.
