Parker Hannifin is seeking an Automation intern to help determine and develop production processes for manufacturing operations. You will interact with product engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams while supporting design, prototyping, and testing of small machines.

Opportunities are available January 2027 - August 2027 and May 2027 - December 2027, with a focus on hands-on problem solving, 3D printing, and rapid prototyping in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifikationen

• Active enrollment in a 4-year engineering or related degree.
• Coursework in manufacturing processes, machining, metrology, statistics, or quality engineering.
• Experience with 2D CAD and mechanical simulations.
• Familiarity with safety standards and protocols.
• Basic programming knowledge in Python or C#.

Aufgaben

• Determine and develop production processes for manufacturing operations consistent with team objectives.
• Collaborate with product engineering, manufacturing, and quality functions.
• Assist in design, prototyping, and testing of small machines.
• Collaborate on technical documentation and reporting for engineering projects.
• Participate in projects related to machine design, prototyping, and creating work orders with BOM and annotations.
