Johnson & Johnson in Wilson, North Carolina, is seeking an Automation Engineering Co-op (6-month assignment) to support the Site Automation organization in implementing and maintaining manufacturing automation systems in a state-of-the-art biopharmaceutical facility.

You will gain hands-on experience with CSV, SAT, GMP, and Industry 4.0 initiatives while collaborating with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, IT, and Maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing BS or MS in a technical field with a 2.8+ GPA.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Interest in automation and biopharma manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Support automation engineers in maintaining and improving manufacturing automation systems.
• Assist with the development and execution of CSV documentation, including test scripts, traceability matrices, and validation reports.
• Participate in Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and system commissioning activities.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving issues related to automation systems and integrations.
• Support data collection, reporting, and analytics using automation platforms.
• Contribute to GMP-compliant documentation updates and change management.
