Job summary

RE Mason Company in Charlotte, NC seeks an Automation Engineer Co-Op to contribute to design, development and implementation of automation systems on capital projects. You will use DeltaV, AMS and other Emerson solutions under senior guidance to deliver quality results.

The role involves interaction with project and account management to meet schedule and budget, plus mentoring of other engineers on assignments. Bachelor’s pursuit in related fields is expected, with MS Office skills advantageous.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in CHE, EE, ME, Comp. Eng., Comp. Sci. or related disciplines.
• MS Office familiarity is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project scope and identify deviations.
• Design and implement process control strategies.
• Implement DeltaV DCS configurations and documentation.
• Support FAT/SAT and start-up activities at sites.
• Prepare design documentation for process control apps.
• Generate project estimates and assist in proposals.
• Develop custom reports for plant maintenance.
