Job summary

Broetje Automation is seeking a Startup Engineer in Everett, WA to provide electrical and controls engineering support for new equipment and systems. You will serve as the SME for Siemens PLC/HMI, motion control, and sensors, working across electromechanical disciplines.

The role requires hands-on automation experience, PLC programming skills, and the ability to travel to customer sites for commissioning and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Hands-on experience in industrial automation and robots
• Strong PLC programming and wiring skills

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical and controls engineering support for new equipment
• Act as SME for Siemens PLC/HMI, motion control, sensors and electromechanical devices
• Apply electronics, circuits, pneumatics and programming knowledge
• Travel to customer sites for commissioning and troubleshooting
• Maintain logs and records of duties performed
