Job summary

Autoliv is seeking an Automation Engineer to design, develop, and optimize automated manufacturing solutions across our production lines. You will program, integrate, and maintain PLCs, robotics, HMIs, and motion systems to improve throughput, quality, and equipment uptime in a demanding automotive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automation, Industrial Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
• Previous experience in automotive or highly regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong understanding of industrial automation systems and hands-on production work.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions including PLCs, robotics, HMIs, and motion control.
• Program, integrate, and optimize industrial robots and automated equipment to boost productivity and quality.
• Troubleshoot and improve machine control systems to maximize uptime and safety.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to set automation standards and support continuous improvement.
• Integrate vision systems, industrial networks, sensors, and Industry 4.0 tools for data-driven processes.
