Job summary

Morales Professional is seeking an Automation Engineer to join the Bluffton, Indiana manufacturing team. This hands-on role involves designing, implementing, and troubleshooting automation systems to improve production processes.

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field.
Minimum 2+ years of engineering experience supporting manufacturing operations or automation projects.
Hands-on in a manufacturing environment with equipment installation, troubleshooting, and startup activities.

Responsibilities

Design and support automation systems integrating mechanical components, PLC controls, sensors, robotics, conveyors, and pneumatic systems.
Design tooling, fixtures, work-holding devices, machine improvements, and automated equipment using 3D CAD software.
Support automation projects from concept to installation, commissioning, validation, and production support.
Evaluate automation opportunities with technical studies, cost analyses, and ROI calculations.
Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and conduct root-cause investigations of mechanical and automation systems.
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, Production, and Safety teams to implement process improvements.
