Job summary
Marmon Foodservice Technologies, Inc. seeks an experienced Automation Engineer to lead the specification, implementation, and commissioning of advanced automation systems supporting highly automated manufacturing operations.
You will establish automation standards, lead reviews, support equipment suppliers, and drive robotics, control, vision, and automated assembly technologies from concept to startup. The role requires a BS in Engineering and 8+ years in automation, with proven experience in
Qualifications
- BS in Engineering with relevant disciplines.
- 8+ years automation engineering experience.
- Experience implementing robotic assembly systems.
- Strong knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLCs.
- Experience with Fanuc robotics and machine vision systems.
- Experience leading FAT and SAT activities.
- Experience managing automation suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Develop automation standards for manufacturing equipment.
- Lead equipment specifications, RFQs, technical reviews, FATs, and SATs.
- Support design and implementation of robotic assembly systems.
- Define controls architecture standards and safety standards.
- Support commissioning and startup activities.
- Manage automation integrators and equipment suppliers.
- Lead troubleshooting during startup and ramp-up phases.
- Collaborate with Process, Quality, and Industrial Eng teams.
