Job summary

Great Work! Employment Services Co in Cincinnati is seeking an Automation Engineer to lead engineering activities related to automation solutions for production and facility equipment.

The role includes troubleshooting, design and implementation of process control and electrical systems, and collaboration with engineers, project managers, and suppliers to ensure project success, reliability, and compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
5–7 years of experience in process control systems.
Experience with PLCs and SCADA systems.
Proficiency with Microsoft-based systems and Visual Basic/SQL.
Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot control and instrumentation systems and guide repairs or design changes.
Support design, installation, startup and validation of process control and electrical systems.
Coordinate with engineers, managers, and suppliers to meet project scope, timeline, and budget.
Maintain site documentation and ensure proper EX rating management.
Identify continuous improvement opportunities in plant automation.
