I I Stanley Co., Inc. in Battle Creek, MI is seeking an Automation Engineer to design, develop, implement, and maintain automated systems that enhance manufacturing efficiency, quality, safety, and productivity.

You will program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and control systems; lead automation projects from concept to validation; collaborate across production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, automation, mechatronics, or related field.
• 3+ years in industrial automation/controls/manufacturing engineering.
• Experience programming PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi).
• Proficiency with HMI development and SCADA systems.
• Experience with robotics, servo drives, motion control, and automated equipment.
• Familiarity with Ethernet/IP, Modbus, DeviceNet, Profinet.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and CI methodologies.
• Excellent communication and ability to work in team environments.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and implement automated manufacturing systems and equipment.
• Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and control systems.
• Support production by diagnosing and resolving automation issues.
• Optimize equipment performance for safety, quality, throughput, and uptime.
• Develop and maintain electrical schematics, process docs, and control specs.
• Lead automation projects from concept through commissioning and validation.
• Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, engineering, and management.
