Job summary

E Tech Group, located in West Chester, OH, is seeking an Automation Engineer to lead or contribute to all phases of automation projects from concept through commissioning. You will design hardware/software for control systems, program PLC/SCADA applications, configure historian databases, tune control loops, and support startup and troubleshooting across multiple industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
• 2+ years of experience in automation or controls
• Experience reading and interpreting control system electrical design packages
• Proficiency in troubleshooting control systems and understanding of process controls
• Rockwell Automation experience with ControlLogix/CompactLogix, PlantPAX, FactoryTalk, Studio 5000
• Familiarity with control system networks (Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet)
• Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to hardware and software design of automation projects
• Develop architecture requirements and detailed software design specifications
• Program PLC and SCADA applications and configure thin client servers
• Configure historian databases and tune control loops
• Provide startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting for control systems
• Collaborate with customers to define scope, plans, and deliverables
• Work as part of a team across industries including wastewater and manufacturing
