Job summary

EVCO Plastics is hiring an Automation Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes through PLC programming and SolidWorks-driven automation designs. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems and collaborate with cross-functional teams on new automated solutions with rapid impact on production efficiency.

Onsite role focusing on hands-on problem solving, robotics integration, and continuous improvement across the plant.

Qualifications

• PLC programming experience in automation environments.
• SolidWorks proficiency for automation design improvements.
• Experience with Scara/6-axis/Cartesian robotics for automated solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Apply PLC programming to enhance automation systems in manufacturing.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with design teams to develop and refine automation solutions using SolidWorks.
• Participate in team meetings and help implement new processes and improvements.
