Job summary

Thrive Freeze Dry is seeking an experienced automation engineer to design and implement industrial automation solutions. You will work on PLC, HMI, and SCADA projects, program and commission systems, and maintain electrical schematics and P&IDs.

You will collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams, travel up to 40% across North America, and stay current with industry practices and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical, automation, or related field.
Hands-on PLC programming and HMI/SCADA development experience.
Experience with commissioning I/O checks and sequence testing.

Responsibilities

Design and develop industrial automation systems (PLC, HMI, SCADA).
Program, test, and commission control systems for new and existing equipment.
Create and update electrical schematics, P&IDs, and control narratives.
