Lhoist North America seeks an Automation Engineer to join the team in the North Las Vegas, NV area. The role develops and maintains process networks and control systems across multiple production sites, troubleshooting instrumentation and control systems on site.
Ideal candidates have 5+ years in automation with process controls experience; a Bachelor’s in Automation or related field is required, and mining/mineral manufacturing exposure is a plus.

- At least 5 years of Automation Engineer experience with process controls and system design.
- Experience in operation and maintenance of automation systems is required.
- Bachelors degree in Automation Engineering or related field; mining/manufacturing experience is a plus.
Mansioni
- Develop, maintain and support process networks and control systems.
- Troubleshoot on-site instrumentation and control systems to keep production running.
- Program and maintain VMIs, PLCs, HMIs, and network switches.
- Manage engineering data acquisition, transformation, storage, security and reporting.
- Support Wonderware, PlantPAx, and Factory TalkView SE systems at plants.
- Set up calibration and interconnectivity of instruments and analyzers.
- Create and maintain network diagrams and support automation upgrades.
