Job summary

JLL seeks an experienced Automation Engineer to design, develop, and implement automation control systems for industrial processes and warehouse equipment. The role emphasizes reliability, safety, and continuous improvement across conveyors, sortation, scanners, cameras, print-and-apply, and SCADA devices.

You will mentor apprentices, lead control system projects, and work closely with operations and support teams to optimize MHE systems while maintaining strict documentation and change

Qualifications

4-year degree or equivalent experience in automation engineering.
Ability to lead, train, and mentor junior automation engineers.
Experience with CMMS, troubleshooting and coordinating maintenance with multiple stakeholders.
Strong verbal and written English to communicate policies.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, implement, and optimize automation control systems.
Maintain and troubleshoot PLC/PC controllers and industrial networks.
Follow documentation and Change Management procedures.
Collaborate with operations, engineering and support teams to optimize MHE systems.
Analyze performance, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement.
