Job summary

SECUNETICS provides network infrastructure intelligence services to government agencies and commercial clients. We optimize IT infrastructure performance and establish baselines to identify opportunities for improvement.

We seek an Automation Engineer with Network Experience for a highly visible, client-facing role to contribute to our mission of performance optimization and scalable automation. You will join a focused team, bringing strong networking and scripting skills to interface with

Qualifications

Undergraduate or graduate degree in CS, EE, or CE.
3+ years of network operations and engineering experience.
Expert level experience with Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent.
Experience implementing IPv6 addressing schemes, routing, and security, including in cloud environments.
Solid understanding of BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP, TAPs, and traffic brokers.
Proficiency writing automations with Python and Bash.
Working knowledge of YAML, JSON, and REST APIs.
Working knowledge of Git.
Working knowledge of Docker or Podman.
Understanding of SDLC, systems engineering, IT performance management, IT operations, monitoring, security monitoring, and KPIs.
Knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies (applications, servers, networks, storage).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
