Job summary

Promega's Chappelle Manufacturing Center invites a motivated student to join the Chemistry Operations team for a three-month internship starting May 2027. Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams to achieve objectives.
• Solid foundation in automation/controls engineering and problem-solving skills.
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation/Controls Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, program, and implement methods of control and automation to improve operations, minimize operating costs, and maximize efficiency.
• Learn and utilize new technologies as appropriate to assist with engineering and improvement projects.
• Participate in cross‑functional teams to investigate and analyze automated processes and execute continuous improvement projects.
• Assist in troubleshooting and problem‑solving activities related to manufacturing processes, equipment, and utility systems.
• Review and update controlled documents to reflect changes for projects or findings from investigation activities.
• Present project work and updates at various project team meetings.
• Demonstrates inclusion through one’s own words and actions and is accountable for a safe workspace. Acts with kindness, curiosity and respect for others.
