Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 4 years automation/manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience in automation equipment integration and production support.
• Knowledge of control systems, motion control, and vision systems.
• Lean and/or Six Sigma principles.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Production using automated equipment and troubleshoot programming, hardware or mechanical design.
• Study and optimize equipment performance for increased production capacity and efficiency.
• Provide programming, simulation and modeling support for new and/or existing production.
• Collaborate with equipment vendors on warranty repairs, necessary improvements and upgrades.
• Provide material support for sustained production (coupons, drill bits, hardware, etc.).
• Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance automation processes.
• Lead/coordinate project implementations between multiple organizations.
• Support Safety, Sustainability and Ergonomic initiatives.
• Develop and maintain documentation for new automation processes.
