Job summary

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. in Mechanical or Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in automation equipment design and installation.
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.

  • Log all engineering time into the tracking system corresponding to the projects.

Job Summary

The purpose of the role is to design automation engineering projects in the areas of mechanical, electrical, electronics, and software application. The Automation Engineer III reviews and analyzes project requirements, specifications, plans, designs, and installations. The position is responsible for designing automation equipment to ensure stipulated specifications and requirements are met, and for delivering within budget and on time. The role supports the Lead Engineer in the design of automation equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Design automation equipment in the respective areas of expertise (Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, or Software Application).
  • Work closely with the Project Manager/Engineer to meet project timelines and stay within budget.
  • Review, understand, and interpret requirements/specifications accurately for integration into equipment design.
  • Ensure design for manufacturability.
  • Act as liaison with internal and/or external assemblers/manufacturers to ensure all parts are manufactured to the design.

  • Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electronics, electrical, and software application engineering.
  • Expertise in EMS industries.

Education & Experience Requirements
  • B.Sc. in Mechanical or Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in automation equipment design and installation.
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Pay range: $79,400 – $142,900.
