  • Lead design engineers in review of design and manufacturability.
  • Ensure all engineering times are logged into JP2 and correspond to the projects.

Job Summary

The purpose of the job is to lead the design and execution of automation engineering projects in areas of expertise such as mechanical, electrical, electronics, and software applications. The Lead Automation Design Engineer leads and oversees a team of design engineers to ensure project requirements, specifications, plans, designs, and installations are achieved within budget and on time. The role supports the Senior Manager of Automation in designing automation equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee the work of a group of Automation Design Engineers.
  • Review and approve design drawings, user manuals, and installation manuals.
  • Work closely with Project Manager/Engineer to meet project timelines and budgets.
  • Lead the team in reviewing, understanding, and interpreting requirements to ensure all specifications are integrated into the design of automation equipment.
  • Lead design engineers in review of design and manufacturability.
  • Ensure all engineering times are logged into JP2 and correspond to the projects.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Compensation

The pay range for this role is $100,100 - $180,200. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
