Job summary
Novo Nordisk in Clayton, NC seeks an automation engineer to ensure process control systems align with local and global standards. You will work with vendors and stakeholders to define IFA specs and ensure equipment connects to local manufacturing.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years engineering experience in process-based manufacturing.
- Experience with process control systems and manufacturing utilities.
- Knowledge of SAP EM, PLC, DCS/SCADA, MES, Oracle, MS SQL preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support plans to maintain and improve process control systems.
- Coordinate with manufacturing schedules to execute plans.
- Act as automation resource on projects involving process control systems.
- Adhere to automation standards and update related specs/maintenance plans.
- Support audits and inspections for process control systems.
- Apply cLEAN/Six Sigma tools for problem solving and project management.
- Follow safety and environmental requirements in duties.
