Job summary

Ken’s Foods, Inc. seeks an Automation Engineer to support the Corporate Engineering team with Manufacturing Systems Controls Design and Support.

The role requires expertise in Ignition and Rockwell PLCs, and collaboration with plant Technicians to troubleshoot and startup automated systems. The position involves designing and maintaining control hardware/software, interfacing with HMI/SCADA, and ensuring safe, efficient manufacturing operations across multiple plants across the United States.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in software or electrical engineering or related discipline.
4+ years of experience with industrial control systems.
Must have experience with Ignition.
Willingness to travel to all Ken’s Foods facilities for project work and startups.

Responsibilities

Develop, integrate, and maintain manufacturing equipment controls systems and automation.
Support manufacturing systems controls design under the direction of senior engineers.
Collaborate with site Control Technicians for troubleshooting and start-ups.
Create written maintenance instructions for automation systems.
