Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering or related field.
• Approximately 23 years of relevant experience in laboratory automation or related technical environment.
• Hands-on experience with automated laboratory instrumentation and liquid-handling platforms (Beckman Biomek, Labcyte/Beckman Echo, Agilent VPrep).
• Exposure to scheduling/orchestration platforms (Biosero Green Button Go, Agilent VWorks, HighRes Cellario).
• Familiarity with scripting/programming concepts (Python, C#, VBScript).
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and increase technical independence.

Responsibilities

• Method & Workflow Development: develop, modify, test, and deploy automated lab methods.
• Laboratory Workflow Automation: translate manual protocols into reliable automated workflows.
• Troubleshooting & Technical Support: provide day-to-day support for automation systems.
• Maintenance & Vendor Coordination: support maintenance and coordinate with vendors.
• Documentation: create and maintain SOPs, guides, and troubleshooting steps.
• Continuous Improvement: identify bottlenecks and improve system reliability and uptime.
• Team Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: work with cross-functional teams and external partners.
