Job summary

Tolmar is seeking an Automation Engineer II to own actions and provide technical support for installation, upgrades, and compliance at our Colorado sites in Fort Collins and Windsor. You will design, troubleshoot, and document automation systems, program controllers and HMIs, and manage change controls as part of a regulated manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in engineering and at least 3 years of equipment automation experience in pharma, with strong technical writing

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science or related field is required.
Minimum of 3 years of equipment automation or computer system experience in a regulated industry.
Experience with database design and management is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support and identify improvements on automation equipment and systems.
Maintain automation systems in a validated state per regulatory requirements.
Initiate, assess, manage and own change controls for automated equipment.
Author/edit URS, DS, FS, CS, SOPs and technical drawings.
Program/configure controllers, HMIs, SCADA and data collectors; support IQ/OQ/PQ.
Lead project management of automation and controls projects within budget and schedule.
