Job summary

- Experience creating dashboards and reports with Power BI.
- Strong scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, Bash, or JavaScript.
- Experience working with SQL and relational databases.
- Experience integrating systems using REST APIs or web services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Apps.
- Experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 administration.
- Familiarity with Azure Automation, Azure Logic Apps, or Azure Functions.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, or other enterprise workflow platforms.
- Experience with Git or other version control systems.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
- Experience supporting engineering, government, or highly regulated environments is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated business workflows using Power Automate.
- Create interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for operational and program insights.
- Develop scripts to automate data collection, transformation, reporting, and system administration tasks (PowerShell, Python, etc.).
- Integrate data from Microsoft 365, SharePoint, SQL Server, Jira, Confluence, REST APIs, and other systems.
- Design automated notification, approval, and document management workflows to reduce manual effort.
- Develop reusable automation components, scripts, and templates for multiple projects.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and recommend solutions.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain automations and reporting solutions.
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Create documentation, user guides, and technical designs for automation solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay current with Microsoft Power Platform capabilities and automation technologies.

We are seeking a mid-level Automation Engineer (3-8 years of experience) who is passionate about streamlining business processes, transforming data into actionable insights, and eliminating repetitive manual work through automation. This role combines process automation, scripting, data integration, and business intelligence to deliver solutions that improve operational efficiency across engineering, project management, and business functions.
The ideal candidate has experience with Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Automate and Power BI, along with strong scripting skills to build custom automation solutions that integrate data from multiple enterprise systems. You'll work closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and develop scalable solutions that enable smarter decision-making.
