Job summary

CANPACK Group seeks an experienced Subject Matter Expert to lead automation across high-speed manufacturing lines. You will deploy and monitor automation hardware and software to optimize plant KPIs, troubleshoot PLC/robotic systems, and specify replacement parts and maintenance contracts.

You will also assess technology options, develop and test automation software, and maintain hardware documentation while integrating new equipment for material handling and packaging processes.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5–8 years programming and troubleshooting experience with PLC automation in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC systems and HMI programming.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, monitor, and maintain automation hardware, OS and applications to drive plant KPIs.
• Troubleshoot and provide technical support for automated manufacturing processes and equipment including line control and robotics.
• Specify and procure replacement parts and maintenance contracts.
• Assess options for technology/equipment across manufacturing operations.
• Develop, test, and verify software programs and procedures to meet user requirements.
• Integrate new equipment and modify automation software for material handling, production, and packaging.
