Lilly in Indiana seeks an Engineer – Automation Engineering to support site automation across manufacturing operations. You will lead process control activities, mentor engineers, and ensure compliant, validated control systems for GMP operations at the Lilly Medicine Foundry.

The role emphasizes project delivery, system design reviews, and collaboration with Process Engineering to optimize manufacturing performance and compliance. Parkwood West to Lebanon, Indiana location evolution is noted.

Qualifications

Minimum B.S. in Engineering and experience in Automation Engineering.
2+ years experience in Biopharma engineering, operations, or manufacturing.
Authorized to work in the United States full-time; no visa sponsorship provided.

Responsibilities

Provide automation support for one or more operating areas across site and/or for capital projects.
Mentor process control team and oversee design and commissioning.
Lead/participate in design reviews and DeltaV application software reviews.
Lead a team of automation engineers supporting commissioning.
Develop and implement the Automation Engineering Project Plan.
Promote automation to improve productivity, efficiency and compliance.
Maintain validated state of site control systems per Lilly quality standards.
