Job summary

Sanofi is seeking an Automation Engineer for its Framingham, MA site to maintain and enhance digital automation systems supporting Biotech manufacturing. The role focuses on DeltaV, SCADA/PLC environments, and system validation in a cGMP setting.

You will troubleshoot, implement small projects, and collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering to minimize downtime and improve process reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or related technological field with at least 6 months hands-on experience in process automation.
• Direct experience with regulated environments (i.e. cGMP, OSHA, EPA).

Responsibilities

• Provide automation expertise for small projects, including continuous improvement and retrofit.
• Troubleshoot and support delivery of future enhancements for automation related systems.
• Maintain and support automation systems to ensure availability across facilities.
• Escalate issues to senior management and coordinate cross-functional support.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality to meet production schedules.
• Develop robust automation solutions and contribute to automation standards.
