Job summary

You will collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams, create 3D CAD models in SolidWorks, select components, assess safety and quality standards, and support FAT, installation, and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in machine design, automation engineering, robotics integration, or custom equipment development.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software and ability to read schematics.
• Working knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, motion control, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to travel occasionally to support customer meetings and installations.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom automated machinery, machine assemblies, tooling, fixtures, and robotic work cells.
• Create machine layouts, 3D CAD models, detail drawings, and bills of materials using SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
• Develop automation solutions for manufacturing, assembly, material handling, and inspection applications.
• Collaborate with Controls Engineers to define system architecture and safety requirements.
• Support FAT, installation, commissioning, and field troubleshooting activities.
