Job summary

The role focuses on optimizing processes through automation and AI-powered robotics, creating mechanical layouts, validating hardware, and performing hands-on lab tests.

Responsibilities include feasibility studies, prototyping with 3D printing or CNC, and documenting results.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a Master of Engineering/Science program focusing on Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical or Chemical Engineering.
Programming: Python or MATLAB; experience with C/C++, C#, or PLC programming for hardware control.
3D CAD/CAM platforms (SolidWorks, MasterCAM) and 3D printing slicers experience.
Hands-on with automated liquid handling platforms and chemical compatibility principles.

Responsibilities

Develop mechanical layouts and functional specifications.
Conduct feasibility studies and simulations for new automation equipment.
Manufacture POC/prototypes using 3D printing or CNC machining.
Test hardware integration and validate protocols on automated liquid handlers and autonomous solutions.
Analyze performance metrics and document test results.
