Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Wilson, North Carolina, seeks an Automation Engineer - Drug Product for aseptic filling. You will own automation/controls, drive FAT/SAT, commissioning, and qualification, and work with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Quality, CSV, OT, MES and system integrators to ensure compliant, reliable systems.

Travel domestically and internationally as needed for FAT, training, and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of progression automation/controls engineering in pharma or biopharma.
• Hands-on ownership of automated manufacturing systems in cGMP environments.
• Experience with aseptic filling, inspection, packaging or similar highly automated systems.

Responsibilities

• Own automation/controls scope for Drug Product aseptic filling area.
• Lead FAT/SAT, commissioning, qualification, start-up and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with OEMs, system integrators, CSV, MES, QA and IT teams.
