  • Partner closely with operations, engineering, and support teams to deliver automation projects and improve MHE performance and reliability.
  • Monitor MHE metrics and KPIs, analyze performance issues, and lead troubleshooting efforts both locally on-site and remotely.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for equipment and system failures, implement corrective actions, and drive process improvements for performance and cost savings.
  • Communicate technical issues, project timelines, risks, and operational workarounds clearly to leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Provide remote technical support for automation systems, guiding teams through diagnostics, error resolution, and system recovery.
  • Interpret, modify, and develop mechanical and electrical drawings to support installation, maintenance, and upgrades of automation systems.
  • Use CMMS tools to plan, coordinate, and document complex maintenance activities involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Support field service engineering and technical training activities related to conveyors, sortation, ASRS, industrial robotics, and other automation equipment.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging data and system performance metrics to identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Work flexibly across varied 10-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to support a high-speed, highly automated distribution environment.
Essential Skills

  • Demonstrated troubleshooting skills in industrial automation and equipment maintenance, including control systems and material handling equipment.
  • Advanced verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to interpret and clearly communicate policies and technical information.
  • A strong problem-solving mindset, with adaptability and a demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work varied 10-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • At least 1 year of hands‑on experience working with automation equipment, controls, or robotics in an industrial or distribution environment.
  • Ability to work comfortably in a performance-driven environment where productivity and results are measured using data and metrics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
