Techtronic Industries is seeking an Automation Engineer 1 to design, build, and optimize automated test systems within the Test Automation Group. The role involves mechanical design, electrical controls, and software tasks to support product development and engineering efforts.

The Automation Engineer 1 supports Product Development and Engineering through designing and building test systems and automating product testing as a member of the Test Automation Group (TAG). Designing and developing mechanical mechanisms, generating mechanical assemblies (CAD), programming (PLCs, Robots, etc.), wiring, and debugging are the normal tasks that are done on a regular basis. An ideal candidate has a strong aptitude for developing mechanical and electrical solutions based on a given challenge or requirement.
Maintain stationary position around 50% of time for computer work.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds on occasion.
Regular talking and hearing.
Regular typing on a keyboard.
Frequent standing and walking indoors and outdoors.
Occasional stooping and bending.
