Senior Associate | Engineering, Operations & Supply Chain at SkyWater Search Partners

SkyWater is partnering with an existing client who’s looking for an Automation Engineer to join their team! Our client is a privately held, small manufacturer who makes custom automated equipment for their customers. The Automation Engineer will be responsible for developing & maintaining PLC controls, partnering with internal engineering teams on projects, troubleshooting electrical & controls issues, and much more. We’re looking for someone with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or similar field of study), at least 2 years of automation, controls or electrical engineering experience (or combination of similar experience). Responsibilities:

• Develop & maintain PLC & HMI programs.
• Create electrical drawings in AutoCAD Electrical.
• Work on new & existing products.
• Partner with internal engineering teams on projects.
• Other duties or responsibilities as assigned.

Desired Skills And Experience:

• Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant engineering field (electrical, mechanical, etc.).
• 2+ years of experience as an Automation, Controls or Electrical Engineer (or combination of positions).
• Experience programming PLC’s or HMI’s required.
• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical or Rockwell Studio preferred.
