Maven Companies in New York seeks an experienced QA Automation Engineer to strengthen our test automation for web and desktop applications. You will craft robust automation patterns using Python and Playwright, focusing on end-to-end UI validation.

The role requires 5–7 years of hands-on testing, API validation, and integration with CI pipelines such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions. You will collaborate with product managers, developers, and QA leads to ensure high quality releases.

Job Description –

Experienced QA Automation Engineer with 5-7 years of hands-on expertise in test automation, quality assurance, and software testing across web and Desktop applications. Proficient in designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks using Playwright and Python , with strong capabilities in Desktop application testing

Key Responsibilities:

• Framework Development: Design, build, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Python and Playwright for end-to-end (E2E) UI and workflow validation.
• Automate complex test scenarios covering web and client-side desktop applications, APIs, and backend services.
• Embed automated test suites into deployment pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) to run continuous regression and integration tests.
• Optimize test scripts for speed, reusability, and cross-browser or cross-platform compatibility
• Work with product managers, developers, and QA leads to define acceptance criteria, analyze pipeline test results, and quickly debug failures

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on coding proficiency in Python (scripting, object-oriented principles, and data handling).
• Solid background in UI automation, functional testing, regression testing, and REST API validation (Postman, Requests).
• Experience with Desktop Application Testing in net environment
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum development cycles and defect-tracking tools like Jira.
