Automation Engineer

This Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, programing, simulating, and testsa wide variety ofautomation systemsin order tocomplete specific tasks within allotted cycle times. This position will either lead or be a participant onnumerousautomation projects.This position works closely with our automation vendors reviewing andoptimizingtheir designs to suit our needs. This position will also serve astrainerin the efficient operation and limits of our automated systems.
What You’ll Do
Essential Functions
- Assistin the design of automated systems.
- Optimization of current automation cells.
- Provide data for suggested modifications.
- Review and evaluate code.
- Evaluates all relevant ergonomic, safety, environmental and compliance considerations when reviewing processes,designsand implementations.
- Interaction with manufacturing,maintenance,automationvendors,qualityand other department supervisors or managers to solve and correct existing and expected manufacturing problems.
- Work withPurchasingTeam to secure necessary equipment.
- Coordinate out-sourced work with vendors.
- Demonstratea knowledgeof and commitment to Lean Manufacturing principles and techniques.

- B.S. Engineering, preferably in Automation Engineering or equivalent years of work experience
- 2 years of experience, preferably in automation

Total Rewards Package
Compensation
- Base: $87,000.00 - $95,000.00 annually, based on specific compensable factors including, but not limited to education, work experience, and geographic market.
- Bonus: This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
