Job summary

Zenius Corporation in Leesburg, VA is seeking an Automation Engineer Cloud Analyst Solution II to support cloud automation, developer enablement, and operational efficiency. This role will design, implement, and optimize automation for secure, reliable cloud operations.

You will collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, application, and security teams to automate provisioning, CI/CD, and observability, while gathering requirements and documenting workflows to support DevSecOps and cloud

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience supporting automation in a cloud/DevOps IT environment.
  • Experience designing or supporting automated technical processes and workflows.
  • Experience supporting cloud infrastructure, cloud services, or cloud-based solutions.
  • Understanding of infrastructure automation and DevSecOps concepts.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, monitoring, alerting, and automated resource provisioning concepts.
  • Ability to gather, analyze, and document technical requirements.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain automation in a cloud environment.
  • Automate infrastructure for cloud accounts, VPCs, compute, storage, networking, and related resources.
  • Identify opportunities to automate processes to improve efficiency.
  • Support developer enablement through self-service platform services, CI/CD pipelines, and shared tooling.
  • Support automation that enables development teams to provision and manage cloud resources securely and efficiently.
  • Support DevSecOps practices, including observability, monitoring, and alerting capabilities.
  • Work with cloud and security teams to support identity and access management and security boundaries.
  • Support security and compliance activities in cloud environments, including continuous monitoring and vulnerability management.
  • Assist with cloud migration and consolidation activities, including discovery, assessment, migration planning, execution, and optimization.
  • Gather, analyze, and document technical requirements for automation initiatives.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and optimize automated processes and workflows.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for automation solutions, configurations, and procedures.
  • Conduct cloud research and analysis and provide recommendations supporting cloud solutions and process improvements.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to drive automation initiatives through implementation.

Position Summary
  • We are seeking an Automation Engineer to support cloud infrastructure automation, developer enablement, and operational efficiency within a cloud environment. This position will support the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of automation solutions that enable secure, efficient, and reliable cloud operations.
  • The Automation Engineer will work with cloud, infrastructure, application, and security teams to automate processes, improve resource provisioning, and support DevSecOps and cloud modernization initiatives.
  • Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

  • Experience supporting cloud infrastructure, cloud services, or cloud-based solutions.
