Technimark in the United States is seeking a qualified candidate with a high school diploma or GED to lead automation maintenance and design efforts on the production floor. You will coordinate automation projects, source equipment, work with suppliers, and support start-ups while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Excellent communication and supervisory abilities are required, with basic machining, CAD and PLC programming knowledge a plus.
High school diploma or GED. Minimum three years' experience in automation, maintenance, design and construction. General knowledge of machining, part design, CAD, Injection Molding and manufacturing operations. Good communication and Interpersonal Skills. Basic Computer and advanced PLC programming experience required with automated equipment. Mechanical aptitude, account management skills and supervisory skills required also. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for purchasing and design of automation. Responsible for the generation of cost saving opportunities related to automation and the presentation of this to management on a regular basis. Maintains and improves all existing automation machines in the division. Coordinates automation activities with outside suppliers. Generates specifications for new automation machines. Approves designs of new automation machines. Manages construction time schedules to meet the production schedule needs on new automation machines. Responsible for procurement of purchase orders for automation projects at suppliers. Assists in production start-ups as related to automation machines Assists with the troubleshooting of new and existing automation machines. Oversees each division's continual improvement of automation machines. Assists other divisions with various automation projects as needed. Required to use a handheld propane torch on the production floor. Benefits and Relocation packages available.
