Cynet Systems in Columbus, GA is seeking an Automation Engineer for a contract role with hybrid work options. The candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and will create automated tests for Web, API, and backend apps.

The role requires strong programming skills (Java, Python, or C#) and experience with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress, plus CI/CD and Agile experience. Healthcare and cloud exposure are nice-to-haves.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with CI/CD and version control workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.
• Create and execute automated test scripts for Web, API, and backend applications.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop and maintain test cases, test plans, and test data.
• Validate REST/SOAP APIs using automation tools and frameworks.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze test results and coordinate defect resolution with dev teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure software quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $40.00hr - $45.00hr

Requirement/Must Have:

• Strong experience in test automation using Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or C# programming.
• Experience in API testing using Rest Assured, Postman, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber/BDD frameworks.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins/Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with SQL and database validation.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
